Erm I just want the album, don't care for all the bullshit threads people keep unnecessarily making even though there is a 'Official Tha Carter IV discussion thread'. I counted atleast 7 threads about C4. Just looking forward to it leaking so I can finally listen to it, and then for it's release so I can watch him perform at VMAs and go buy a copy at the stores.

Jesus i am so tired of wayne stans. John is a remake of I am not a star. DEAL WITH IT! He did a remake of I am not a star and put it out as a second single. Its pathatic and sad. John sucks, deal with it, say it sucks and you hope c4 is nothing like that. Yeah, lets make a remix of heart of the city and put it out like a second single. One does not remake other peoples classics, one makes oneself a classic song.

C2 gave us hustler music and shooter. C3 gave us mr carter and lollipop. c4 gave us john and a high pitched voice song called 6'7'. Do you see the difference between c4 and c2/c3?

no appearances
Unplugged should've been nearer release date

only thing is Wayne is touring a fuck load, but only in the U.S. so he'll sell next to nothing outside the US.

tracklist is confirmed.....its amazon not some blog site and i'm pretty sure someone confirmed it too.
they have the john video everywhere along with a c4 commercial every 10 seconds on bet, mtv, etc
deluxe tracklist has been confirmed multiple times, just no released yet
no appearances? he's doing a tour right now...he's preforming at the vmas, give it till next week he's definetly gonna be on atleast one late night show over something
unplugged would have been close to the released date if the album was never pushed back so thats their fault for pushing it back theres nothing to do about it now
and 6'7 was released 9 months ago but its still getting airtime so thats still promotion, along with john, and she will thats already blown up where i live and is #1 on itunes, all over twitter, facebook etc.

honestly with all the technology now they don't even need to try that hard to promote it, ofcourse they could do better. but they're doing alright

My point is that john is a bad song, and putting it as a single is so so so BAD. I got a friend i showed the song, he is a wayne stan. He said " is this a joke, what mixtape is it on?"

Wayne has since c3 lost his hunger. That is why he is giving us INHB, john etc. It seems like he thinks that if he just gives us music he will be know as the best rapper to ever be. He forgets that classic songs make people remember. Crappy songs make people forget.

Some of you stans are so delusional it's funny. Yall act like this motherfucker and his team can do no wrong. The promotion is sloppy as hell, which is why it's been pushed back numerous times. They have not had their shit together at any point of this whole process. He'll still sell cause he's Wayne, and sales in general don't matter. My whole point is going over most of yalls heads, this promotion for a HIGHLY anticipated album coming from a guy the caliber of Wayne and his team is terrible. He put out the worst mixtape of his career, put out a terrible choice of singles minus 6 Foot 7, has no video for his lead single How To Love, no confirmed tracklist to the public(a tweet isn't confirmation), has multiple beats that he's being accused of stealing, continually getting sued over stolen/ un paid beats, etc. I could go on, this shit is just terrible. He better deliver one good album after all of this. I'm sure it will be deemed a classic on here after the first listen tho -__-

It's true though, I don't think there has been enough promotion. Some people around here where I live don't even know when Tha Carter 4 will be released. They don't have a date or don't know of "Sorry 4 The Wait" mixtape. And they all dig hip-hop.
