When I say J Cole , Kendrick . K.R.I.T and Drake are better...im not speaking of their legacy...or shit like that...What they have done....Im thinking presently that nobody aint spitting like them niggas.......selling a million albums, mixtapes from 4 years ago and old classic albums does not apply....If you looked at hip hop for this year.....These niggas killing it the most..best stories, best deliveries, can sing and hold a tune...and just impresses most of the veteran bunch (including Jay Z, Dr. Dre, Lil Wayne...etc)Mississippi x California x North Carolina

Simply enough: no. Drug-free Weezy is no joke, and he's impressed me more than I actually expected. But he's clearly not the same dude. Every line feels more forced, more thought-out. It's not a free-for-all, just fucking snap off, kill the beat in one take situation anymore. He's much more deliberate than he used to be, and that takes away from the smoothness and spontaneity of his verses. I'd say sober Wayne is still top 5. I feel that much of what he's lost is difficult to describe, probably more swag than skill.Comment

As much as I would love to say he is still the "Best Rapper Alive," he just simply is not the best rapper anymore. He had a great reign and is still the best entertainer in the buisness IMO, but his days being the best in the game are gone.Comment
