I put it before it was released since I was so hyped for it.

To me it's good, but not good enough for Wayne, and a lot of the songs have the same boring concept and wack punchlines.

And there wasn't much of a suprise, Wayne wasn't on two of the albums best featured songs, and 4 songs we heard from before.

Sure he can. But right now, he's already more or less on top of the game (see CIV sales, closing VMA's, etc.), so he understandably doesn't have the hunger he used to. Were someone to knock him off "the throne," or do something to really piss him off (not saying I want this to happen, but Drake leaving YM or dissing him or something would probably do the trick), I think he'd get that hunger back again.

Honestly...Maybe.....if and only if...he does the following

1. Have T - Mix and Batman executive produce 50% of the album
2. The other 50% will and only be produced by Develop, Streetrunner, Kanye West, J Cole and Cool and Dre
3. Stop with this suda dupa shit....and this trying to spit a fucking punchline in every line
4. Any feature artist/producer has to be in the studio with Wayne at the time of recording so chemistry can be established
5. 5 Features - Hotboys, Currensy, Jay Electronica, Kendrick Lamar, J Cole (maybe Drake)
6. No singing
7. No Autotune
8. No dumb bullshit lines like " Have it your way burger king"
9. Wayne has to be on every track..
10. Wayne should be wasted, high or chemically imbalance while recording
11. No YM member can give constructive criticism...(other notable hip hop artist..Kanye, Raekwon, Nas, and Andre must approve the dopeness of the track..
12. No more baby pics on the album cover
13. atleast 80% of the album has to have subject.
13. Intro/Interlude/Outro must be the most hype and lyrical escapades on the album with no features
14. Wayne must stay on topic on all subject songs...
15. Song Names must match subject of the song
16.Video must accompany a single no more than 3 weeks after being officially releases

one and two: im whatever on the names,
because theres so many better producers out.
but production is key. wayne always gives a better performance.
on better beats. and its common sense. who would get inspired to do great shit.
on some weak ass production.

three : yes. im pretty sure he does this.
because he knows its a simple style. and this mainstream.
audience. that hes playing too. isnt really trying to hear anything else.
its like the verse he had on that song with shakira. its an international audience.
that wouldnt be able to grasp the raps. if it was as skilled as he could make it.
he needs to stop watering down his raps.

four : yeah. his whole approach to music right now. is too ugly.
there needs to be something organic to it. some actual inspiration.
and creativity. instead of this process thats going on right now.

five. im completely down for currensy. jay e. and kendrick.
could definitely pass on j.cole. but i wouldnt mind a few others.
namely. fashawn. black thought. and raekwon. the raps those dudes.
would bring out of wayne. would be ridiculous. theyre too good.
for wayne not to bring his a game.

thirteen/fourteen. i really dont care much for subject. every other rapper has subjects.
what makes wayne different is how many subjects and ideas he can cover in one song.
and he bounces from each on to the next. while mirror and novacane are coolish.
theres other rappers that do that better. id prefer to have wayne freewheeling his way.
through some dope beats. than some boring verse on subject a. hook.
second boring verse on subject a. hook. third boring verse on subject a.

fourteen. definitely. these were some of the highlights of the first two carters.

fifteen. irrelevant.

sixteen. irrelevant.


with all this.
i think he could make.
some great music again.
and i actually think he needs.
the opposite of a break. he needs a binge.
he needs to go back into beast mode. and feeed.
on all these beats. without worrying about who's listening.
especiallyyy some dumb ass mainstream audience.

yeah. they went in on carter 2.
i wouldnt mind hearing what they were up to now.
but there really is way too many good producers out.
for wayne not to explore what else is out there.
and that doesnt mean the cheapest alternative.
which is the way birdman likes to go.
thats how the carter four ends up sounding.
like a bunch of soundclick producers made the album.

Yeah course he can, but I think he just needs to work harder on his stuff and realise how his tracks were back then... Not too sure bout taking a break being the answer, although I think that would add to pure hype. A brake for us, but him working his bollocks off not releasing much and then just hitting us with nothing but amazingness lol.
