When you put a plethora of material into the market place for an extended period of time, your creativity will gradually decrease. It happens to all artists in every genre of music. Nas has been unable to reach Illmatic levels again, Em has not been the same since the Marshall Mathers LP, and Jay's last truly classic album was the Blueprint. And again, look at all the material Wayne has put out over the years: Sqad Up 1-7, Da Drought 1-3, Dedication 1-3, Prefix, Suffix, No Ceilings, The Carter 2.5, Like Father, Like Son mixtape, The Carter 3 Sessions, TBIH, Lights Out, 500 Degreez, Carter 1-4, Rebirth, Like Father, Like Son, etc. Then add all of the unofficial mixtapes and guest verses he put out. Then add in all the material he did during the Hot Boys era. You really expect him to maintain the same level of creativity and consistency after all that? He's been rhyming for over 20 years now, it was bound to happen.

Finally, this whole ghostwriter story started with Gillie who already admitted he never wrote for Wayne, he simply coached him:

Gillie Da Kid Behind the Music | XXLMAG.COM

XXL: Were you straight writing verses for Wayne, or was it more of a coaching thing?

Gillie: No, Wayne had good breath control, so it was really more of a study thing.

So did Curren$y influence Wayne? Most likely, the same way he influenced Wiz's current style. Did he write for Wayne? No, Wayne was spitting way before Curren$y entered the picture.

Ghost writing is . Maybe maybe not. I think he did but that's just me.
Maybe he influenced his style (and maybe gille influenced his style on C1) but i just dont see how he wrote for him when he cant even write that type of stuff for himself

Reason why I think he fell off cuz he switches flows too much.. went frrom da dirty southern shit to nyc jayz style to curr flo then on some martian shit on dd3 to tryin to be 3$tacks..to garbage/ran out ideas/trying to be a rockstar.. nigga ain't hungry no more.. ain't trying to show/prove to every1 that he is the best rapper alive..

2010, No Ceilings was late 09 about this time.

I say he started going punchline(fell off) about the time 2010 started.
