Tha Mobb and then Fly In, first two songs, and two of his greatest songs! Tha Mobb, Fly In, Best Rapper Alive, Fly Out, Hustler Musik I don't see how you could say CI or CIII is better....but they're all great albums I just take CII over all!

And they are facts, i'm sure i'm not the only person on the forum whose head was about to explode after hearing Shittypop being played on the radio 24/7 and i'm damn sure i'm not the only person who was disappointed by the album as a whole, which makes it a fact because in reality, the album was disappointing. It's my opinion that it's the worst Lil Wayne album of all time, but it was the 2nd most disappointing album of 2008-2009, 1st being Relapse.

After nearly 3 years of classic mixtapes and no albums from Wayne, I expected a lot more. I expected the GOAT from Lil Wayne, because he's a capable MC, not a shitty pop hit that made Wayne lose his real fans and gain a trukload of dickriders...

Not trying to be a hipster. And they are facts, i'm sure i'm not the only person on the forum whose head was about to explode after hearing Shittypop being played on the radio 24/7 and i'm damn sure i'm not the only person who was disappointed by the album as a whole, which makes it a fact because in reality, the album was disappointing. I understand where you are coming from bro, but the thing is.

If Wayne would of stuck with a certain style you like, which is anything Pre-Carter III or II If I'm not mistaking, he wouldn't be as big as he is now obviously.

And even though I'm sure Wayne loves making music, he has to be on top. That's just who he is.

I know C3 was probably one of his worst albums to you, but I'm sure their are other people like me who started listening to Wayne back in about 2006-07. i personally didn't think C3 was as bad as you thought it was. It could have been better no doubt, especially if the Sessions never leaked

Thing is, I know Wayne is capable of doing Wayne more. Lollipop wasn't needed and i'm not the only one who thinks C3 was dog shit. A lot of people were giving away bootlegs of that album for the fact that he made half of those songs. It's not like Wayne to be THAT shitty. Shitty concepts, shitty lyricism, and a shitty disappointing album. I'm just saying, he could do... better. And i'm not hating, only if you make me...

xD but on a serious note, i'm saying it's facts because Wayne had potential, then he turned into the popstar. He's not the only rapper I hate for it, but Wayne will never be put in the best rappers of all time lists if he made songs like How to Love and Lollipop... And I know he probably doesn't care now, but he did then. So that's why I say it's fact because I knew people who loved Wayne until C3, then they were disappointed by what could've been. Me personally, I think he would be more popular. He'd have more mature fans instead of 8-14 year olds, he'd be in the top MCs of all time, he would be a lot more known, and he'd be the best rapper alive.

Tha Carter III IS Lil Wayne's sellout album. Nearly half of the album are mostly pop/radio tracks or just too mediocre to be remembered. Tha Carter III is more overrated than the new Eminem + Jay Z + Lebron James. Only classic tracks are A Milli, 3 Peat, Tie My Hands, & Dr. Carter.

Hustler Musik is more memorable, lyrical, creative, well produced & more classic than Lollipop and La La combined. And do I have to bring Got Money and Mrs. Officer into this? Playing With Fire was straight trash (except the last verse), Wayne was murked in You Ain't Got Nothin', Wayne talks way too long in Misunderstood and Phone Home is wack.

And yes you are right, mainstream hip hop is so dry. Nothing but shitty club tracks.

The perfect radio song formula that will get you on those pop charts:

Banging beat + shitty lyrics + catchy hook + 80% of the song is the hook = Platinum and being atleast in the top 50

Mediocre compared to "I told her back it up, like burp burp. And made dat azz jump, like jurp jurp", "She wanna fuck Weezy, she wanna rape Wayne" "See I get better with time, like a watch" or "Man I swear i'm on top, like the attic"... Sorry, but Tha Carter is lyrically his best studio album (his mixtapes are a lot better lyrically). Tha Carter III was my most hated album when it came out. I got a physical copy just for a coaster because I was disappointed by all the singles (except A Milli). And C4 is straight ass... I expected it to be a step up over C3 when I heard 6'7", but it failed horribly and was the most overrated album of 2011.

Listen, you're the one getting mad and shit because some people, like myself, enjoy C3 more than C1. Yes, rap wise C1 was better, but overall music wise C3 had a little bit of everything for everyone and that's why some people like it more. C1 had that gritty-street-New Orleans sound that a lot of people aren't into. In no means is C1 a bad album, it is just not appealing to some of us as it is to you.
