No Ceilings is dope as fuck. The whole thing plays through fine aside from the wack features, but there's only a few of them.

IMO No Ceilings is as good as Drought 3, even though his flow and lyricism are slightly better on Drought 3. I still get the same enjoyment out of No Ceilings. I think it's the beat selection, and overall mood of the tape. No Ceilings is a classic.

        That's true.

But many people fail to see that.

          It's probably Wayne's second best mixtape of all time. And here's why;

It was punchline wet dreams. It had some really nice punchles throughout the entire mixtape and not only that but he executed them very well throughout the tape. His flow on the tape was very consistent along with his lyrics.

No Ceilings produced some tracks most rappers struggle to get on a album for quality wise. It had fun tracks, hyped tracks and chilled slow tracks. I'm Single came from a mixtape everyone, it's one of Wayne's best tracks in recent years and it's a mixtape song.

The overall quality of the tape was almost perfect, the vibe, the whole energy of the mixtape was spot on.

          no ceilings...motha fuckaaa.

P.S. Wasted is one of my favourite weezy tracks AND his, or one of, his best punchline tracks of all

          time.

P.S P.S Oh lets do it is sick too

          No Ceilings time now

Run This Town is one of the most GOAT songs Wayne ever did.

            No Ceilings > Drought III

                hmm

                its a tough call,

from a quality standpoint, im not sure it holds up
with the rest of his catalog, but there is an energy to it.

its really the first time we got to hear a happy wayne rap for fun.
there's a lot of joy all over that tape, and the most curious thing to me about NC.
is the way it kinda defies the time frame. For no reason was banned from tv on there, but he made it fresh.
He made the played out radio songs fresh, he made fresh beats sound better. everything he did on that tape improved the music.
in a way that didnt allow for that tape to get old. NC was still bumping a year two years after it released.

think of how fast music goes now, for any mixtape to have that kinda shelf life. that was crazy.

so NC def has its merit.

but i also, think its the worst mixtape project he's ever put out.
even though he did his things on all the songs. it showed him an easy way to make music.

"hey im popular + popular tracks = popular music"

theres no creative effort in his tapes anymore, just find whats hot and spit.

before his mixtapes were actually crafted.
they actually mined for beats. his tapes would sound different than everything else.

now it all sounds the same, just with a better rapper.
and thats to his credit. a lot of the songs on dedication 4, id just rather listen to wayne.
and thats a c average wayne at best. but still, the whole process is fucked.

the wayne we knew has been watered down on everyyy level.

                  Hell no!
I know i'm about to be flamed for saying this, but here it go:

I personally think you got to have a love for getting fucked up if you fuck with no ceilings. If you love getting fucked up I feel like every song can relate to you and the tracks are swag so its not like some afroman shit if it that makes sense. If you don't do fuck, drink, smoke weed, or do any other shit, you just can't understand no ceilings.
