Far from being my favorite nowadays... But what did make him one of my favorites was his charisma, lyricism (back when it was good), his delivery, his flow, his no hook style, his emotion, his power, and his work ethic. I mean... What nigga gives away some of his all time best content for FREE?! He was also the rapper that made me appreciate lyrics more.
- Being from the South first off.
- I began listeneing to Wayne in his prime, which was during the production of C3/Da Drought 3. So I got hooked ever since.
- He works alot harder than many people know
- His personality, from being a leanned out zombie to the lively sober man he is now, he is always going to me my idol no matter what anone says.
- His style
- He doesn't care what people think
We all know he isn't the same person he used to be. And I'm not just talking about the skating thing, I mean as a person in general, he's different. But I accept it and it's not easy, but you can't blame him. He's been rapping for a long time, and has 4 kids.
Wayne is the first rap artist I actually called my favorite rapper in my entire life. and too be honest, no other rapper has replaced that for me, and I don't think it will happen anytime soon either.
He works/worked hard as fuck. I still find music I've never heard before now and then.
His attitude and cockiness
He did alot of different genres and did'em good
He is a great performer
When I've listened to a song for years I suddenly figures out his wordplays, I love that. No other rapper ever gave me those moments.
I can relate to him as a person. For example Eminem, his lyrics are dope as fuck and he is a great performer but I hardly know anything about him personally because he is all about the music. Wayne is like the full package.
