I've never heard a Macklemore song [properly], I might give his album a listen to see what the hype's about lol

His music isn't bad. Talks some real shit about his life and world problems, but just not my forte.

I do think that he is wayyyy overrated.

I don't see DJs leaking anybody else's work at the volume Wayne's was. Everyone fucked with wayne at a point.

Cuz all the "hip hop heads" hate him, but they love Kendrick
But did Wayne ever get respect like Kendrick is getting now?

I'm really confused... why is your shit the same as Danny's?

Shit Was Waynes Run As Big As T.I. King era . . ?
Yeah Wayne's run was much bigger than Tips King era. I would compare tips king era to the drake era that we are in today. Tip was huge like Drake is now but more so on a superstar urban level. Wayne on the other hand was a mega star similar to Eminem where not just urban people fucked with him, suburban white people hell even punk rock people who didn't listen to rap were fucking with Wayne. I remember going to Australia the summer C3 came out and I couldn't believe how many of those people loved Wayne. Wayne is really the only artist I know who reached mega stardom all off his work ethic alone. 50 had cosigns from Em and Dre not mention his beef with Ja Rule who was huge at the time, and his getting shot 9 times story. Em had Dre and was the first lyrical white boy to hit the scene so he was destined for greatness from white America, Kanye had Jay and was already an established producer, and Drake had Wayne who promoted the hell out of him after C3 when Wayne was still on top. But who did Wayne have? Nobody he's really the only rapper who went from being underrated for years to reaching mega stardom as not just a rapper, but as an artist period. He can truly can say he made it own his own with no huge cosign and people have to respect him for that.
