Drake is a rapper, businessman, and all around personality who's at the peak of music, slang, and social media.

If you ask me, removing the bias we all have as Wayne fans, Drake is definitely a bigger persona now than Wayne was in 2008.

But everybody was bumping 6'7", Look at me now, and Hustle Hard remix just to name a few 2011 was a great year for Weezy.... Carter 4 was great even though some people felt let down. TO ME, Wayne fucked up not dropping an album in 2012 and he let Kendrick take over. Drake took the crown from Kendrick in 2013 and has never gave it back. The hottest Drake was before now is the Take Care period but I can't really say he was #1 in the game at the time.

All that came out but yet Take Care was a far more impactful album for 2011 not to mention I'm on one or the shit drizzy had controlling the radio, honestly I don't think Kendrick took 2012 because Drake was the goto guy for a feature if you wanted a radio hit (no lie, diced pineapples, etc) his stock grew to 40 mil in a year with out any new album so from 2011-now that would be drakes rap game

think everyone is mistaking social media by isolating like its something only on the internet.. social media is how everyone is communicating their ideas.. and pretty much if not forming.. at least passing along pop culture...

and w that.. i think drake, in terms of pop culture, is bigger than wayne was. wayne was large, but its nod to his talent.. cos hes probably overreached.. bye a lot.

no one looks like wayne in that stratosphere of pop culture. dreads, diamond teeth, tattoos.. the content of his music.. hes never really censored himself at all.. even if his style got diluted.. its really amazing when you think about it..

jay is super clean cut corporate.. kanye.. clean cut, super high art w fashion lines.. shoes.. kendrick.. the intelligent wellspokenthing.. drakes is about commercially accessible artist hiphops ever put forth.. eminem is white..

waynes got none of that going for him.. except for a few years, he was utterly brilliant and you couldnt deny him.



so yeah.. drake might be bigger.. but if im talking artistically.. waynes career has way more merit.
