Why can't NC and D6 both be amazing in their own ways? They're both great mixtapes loaded with bars for days and each in a different time of Wayne's life so there's obviously they're gonna reflect that. Be thankful the man is still making music and giving a damn about it
these lines are straight trash like leftovers from IANAHB2!! Suddenly equally atrocious lines are being hailed as a comeback. Wtf. Sheep. 🐑 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
I don’t even go into Wayne music anymore comparing to the old days. It’s almost just like a new artist overall — in which case it’s pretty 🔥...certain parts anyway.
For those who say this has shades of old Wayne (eureka sounds like c3? Umm, no. Don’t know what c3 y’all been listening to)
There is exactly one and only one section that sounds like pre-prison Wayne and it appears in “what’s next” at 1:45 (starting “quickly quickly quickly” and continuing to the end of the verse). I trust all true old school Wayne fans will agree.
Am I saying it’s the only good part of the tape? Hell no. My favorite tracks are XO, bank account and a few others. I just think it’s nice that Wayne can actually deliver in the mumble rap genre he (sometimes regrettably) birthed.
. He has struggled with this for many years now.
Now if only he could get rid of the random dick and pussy childish jokes that pop up in the middle of legit trains of thought, he’d be decent.

Fuck that goddamn article. It legit just pissed me off.
Lil Wayne, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Skooly, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz.
i listened to his mixtape at least 15 times already. I go back to eureka every time, maybe my favorite song off the mixtape so far. The way he flow and float over the beat is godly.
And stop comparing past to old albums/mixtapes. Its really pointless at this point of wayne's career. Just enjoy the good music people.

Ive said the same to people who ask about the tape, if you listen to that last minute on his verse in what’s next that is wayne at his best, favourite part of the entire tape, wordplay is out of this world
