Eminem was the first major success as a white rap artist, his lyrics and style were different and that got a lot of white people into his music and then into other rap. Now if you think about it then skin colour does still have a huge impact in todays world, and Em pushed the boundry and became a success in a music of black origin and got white people interested in the music.

Wisheezy let me try explain my points a bit more then...

I mentioned the mixtapes because they get artists a lot of hype, and allows them to give more die hard fans what they want. Yes I'll agree Em only produces good music via albums and features instead of some good and not so good on mixtapes but Wayne uses mixtapes wisely to give the fans him just going hard on tracks and can use albums to create more mainstream style music.

I mentioned the drug taking part because Em was on that shit before Proof died and he wouldn't have needed rehab if he could have controlled it. It was Eminems choice to take all those hard drugs and it got the better of him. Wayne seems smart enough not to do that because he knows it's a slippery slope.

Yeah Em is the best selling rap artist of all time and Wayne doesn't even come close, maybe will, maybe won't but not at the moment.

Em was voted artist of the decade no arguing that. But Wayne is starting to rake up a list of achievements and awards as well, maybe next decade it could be his.


A new style as in Rebirth is a new style of music. I'm saying Em doesn't try that he sticks to what he knows and that's rapping he hasn't tried to do anything like rock or whatever.

Em has bought up artists like 50, D12 and Obie but that was a little while back remember and Wayne has only really just got going with these YM artists. The only thing close is that 50 went big quickly and Drake is doing the same sort of thing.

I feel personally Em is past his prime if you look at MMLP and SSLP he seemed better than he does now. Not saying he's not good now or anything like that, he is still one of the best or the best in peoples opinions but in mine and what will be a lot of others he isn't as good as he was. But yeah he has passed it in age wise.

Grammy thing is self explaintory lol.

But I wouldn't turn around and call you a dick rider or anything there is no point, you have given both of them points just like I did and you favoured Em where as I favoured Wayne. That's both our personal opinions in it all. Hopefully this won't cause an argument or anything I just thought I'd try and explain my points more to try clear up why I said them. Em is a perfectionist but Wayne is as well, consider how much time and effort he puts into his music. Especially the Rebirth project, ok a lot of people may not like it, but he has kept working and working on it until he feels it is perfect.
