I realized it a few times ago because there are rappers I reaaly like like Method Man, Snoop, Jay z Redman & many others and I was like " Wayne is really good but he wouldn't make it for a long time"
but he's dropping more and more kick ass songs so now I really think he's the best rapper alive and the 2n Best Rapper Dead or Alive (Sorry Biggie but you've been surpassed).

To me Pac is still the one but Weezy gonna change it.

Sorry Pac still doesn't have anything on Wayne, or anyone else for that matter. You people can't be serious...there are over 1,000 Wayne songs n features of him on songs and I can honestly say that 90 percent of them are either good, great, or just plain amazing with his own style and word play. Not too mention the other hundreds he has recorded and haven't been leaked or put out there yet...like get for real man weezy kills everyone in the game dead or alive. Lyrically he is a mastermind and no one can compare to his metaphoric flow. period.

Back before I listened to Wayne, I hated all rap. Then one time I was with this shawty in my car and she was messing with the radio and put it on a hip-hop station. In my head I was like "Oh my god I hate this music it's fucking retarded" but out loud I was saying "yea diz iz da bess muzik evah." Then 'Got Money' came on and as soon as I heard the lyrics "bitch I'm the bomb like tick, tick" I knew the game had changed. When I got home I downloaded Tha Carter III and Dedication 2, and my life has been complete ever since.
