Other artists such as Kanye West and The Game will sell 250K+ in the first week. Lil Wayne and Eminem will sell the most obviously, by selling a maximum of 500K in the first week. Those saying "a milli" are dumb. The economy is down, and more people are stealing music now more than ever (including me).

NOTE: Maybe we could hold a contest for predictions lol. Whoever predicts closest to the actual number without going over wins. Came up with that last night, thought it was funny.
Wayne sold 150k in the first week because Rebirth was mostly utter shit IMO. Poorly promoted too.
Cosign, and Rebirth had no where near the buzz Drake or B.o.B has right now. You have to remember how good an album is doesn't really matter for first week sales. No one has really heard it yet and the hard core fans are gonna buy it anyway. It's all about the buzz.

50 Cent sold like 900k on his debut, Snoop Dogg sold 800k, Kanye sold 450k. That's all on debut albums, so don't tell me 150k is the ceiling.

Oh, and about the note, that sounds like a great idea! We can start with Bobby Ray. My official guess is 225 000.
You idiot fifty released his debut in 2001-03 i think where there was no GFC or anything internet piracy was nothing

        B.o.B will sell around 125k
        Drake will do 350k
        kanye will do 400-450k
        Fifty will do arounf 350-400k
Nicki will do 50-75k (if shes lucky)
        Ti will do 500-600k
Eminem will do around 800-1.1m (im sure he will sell)
        Wayne 650-725k

            Re: Sales Predictions

OK, this is the last day we'll take predictions for B.o.B , the first contest. Give one amount, and the person with the closest number will get their name in the title as the winner until the next album anyone gives about comes out.

Mine, as previously states (which seems a tad high now)
            225 000

i might get around to adding other people to this post or the OP or something.

            Peace and good luck

market has been fucked up lately
i think 200 000 would be really honorable for a debut album

Yea, i can only see Drake doing above that this year. Cudi did like 100k, and that's probably around how good B.o.B will do, maybe a little better as he has pop appeal too.

yea drake can sell more than 500 000 he's fucking big and people knows him for two years now... Many ppl know BoB for one or two months so they need more time to trust him. He's gonna sell like kid cudi or maybe a little bit more because he got a #1 song
