Album is a 8.75/10 imo. Much better than Lasers, but I still feel Atlantic managed to sneak some stuff that could've been off the album (tracks 9-12). The middle of the album feels a bit too mainstream from the Lupe in The Cool era imo. And I really think he should've saved "All Black Everything" for this album. Really fits the theme of the album better. I gotta relisten to The Cool again, but my order of his albums are:
F&L 1 > F&L 2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lasers
But the album was deff worth the purchase, no doubt. I believe Soundtrakkk is the producer that makes his best work. Lupe goes better with his sound than The Runners. Runners are better for Ross tbh.
