How?

Two clear cut classics, one borderline. No album below 8/10. Most creative and has the best wordplay ever.

Easily one of the greatest if not the greatest.

Which of those is overrating him?

He is at worst top 3 for both creativity and wordplay. He does has 2 classics with one borderline. He is one of the greatest rappers ever with a very strong case for being #1.

Aquemini being top 4 is obviously my opinion but in reality it should really be in every ones top 10.

I fail to see how he's overrated..

I say he's one of the greatest with a very strong case for greatest ever.

I legitimately have no qualms if he's not in your top 10 favorite list.. But to not have Andre in top 10 best rappers ever is to me anyways madness.

Dilla really lol่. Top 5 producer but better rapper than Andre lol.
Only two I agree with is Rakim and Nas. Pac may be more influencial but he sure as hell is a much inferior MC. Big (All three of them) died too early to have a realistic grasp of their respective careers but their death helped their influence/legacy undoubtably. KRS-One doesn't even have a classic, very influential but a better MC than Andre please. Raekwon is in my top 10 actually but imo he ain't on Dre's level and Doom probably only is on Andre's level on wordplay. Other than that I can't see one facet where he's close to Dre.

I guess I was including production for Dilla, I don't really care about legacy when it comes to hip hop that much, just love the sound of Big L, Pun and Biggie. I disagree about KRS-One (Return of the Boom Bap), and doom is more creative than Andre, imo.
You talk as is it's clear cut on what is a classic and what isn't.
