You've given: 1. That they drop a lot of mixtapes (which actually should help increase their sales) 2. That there was little promotion (which is valid to an extent, but if they were really buzzing as much as you claim they are they would still sell 50k easily in their first week, promotion or no promotion) and 3. That Lil B put his album out for free the day after it was released (Again, valid to an extent, but album sold 1,700 copies first week. Let's assume those were all on the first day and that nobody after that purchased the album. If he hadn't put the album out for free, sales would've gradually decreased day by day throughout the week, but let's assume that in Lil B's case they somehow did not, and he sold 1,700 copies per day for the entire week. That still only adds up to 11,900 copies, which is still awful.)

Fair enough, take what I used before and triple that if it was an album in stores. 35,700 copies first week is still bad.
