                        1. Jay-Z - Listen to Reasonable Doubt and you'll see why I think he is the GOAT. Also the most successful and most consistent (500 million dollars net worth), Jay-Z has made classic song after classic song. Reasonable Doubt is just a masterpiece, it's mesmerizing almost like listening to a damn movie. Also The Black Album and The Blueprint are not to be fucked with at all.

                        2. Biggie - Easily the best RAPPER. This dude had flow, and with only 2 real albums he still has the best flow in the game. No one can flow like Biggie. This dude rode beats like nothing. Also was just ice cold.

                        3. 2Pac - Had something that most rappers lack and that's a MESSAGE. Most rappers don't give AF as long as they're selling records, but Tupac truly cared about his community and the rest of the world. He was a soulful dude, and could bring out emotions in anybody. He spoke about real issues and was also a community activist. He also had a lot of character and was well spoken.

                        4. Nas - Wrote the Bible for Hip Hop. Unlike Jay-Z, Nas is actually a good influence on his people (I wish people would stop arguing about Reasonable Doubt versus Illmatic). He can rap just as good as Jay, well he has a different style but they are both arguably on the same level. Nas can also tell stories and he is like Tupac in a way because he has a message and cares about his people, meaning he wants to elevate them and make them do better and not worse.

                        5.
Eminem - Not even because he's white, but I mean come on. Eminem is amazing. He can tell stories and bring out emotions in anybody too. He has classic song after classic song a lot like Jay-Z too. Also such a great battle rapper, he ended the careers of quite a few big names and is also an amazing freestyler. This dude can freestyle like nobody else in the game.

Honorable mentions: T.I., Kanye West, Drake, Lil Wayne, Big L, Wiz Khalifa, Ice Cube, Common, Immortal Technique, Kendrick Lamar, Lupe Fiasco (could definitely fight for the #6 spot), Mobb Deep, Young Jeezy (dude is cold), Lloyd Banks (flow is almost at Biggie's level), Big Sean, Andre 3000, A$AP Rocky, Rick Ross (big moves lately).

At the end of the day people will argue about who holds titles just like sports fans argue about which teams are the best, but it's all relative to you and your taste in music.

                          1. Lil Wayne - His music I just enjoy the most. Even today. He has so many songs you can never really get tired of listening to him.

                          2. Kevin Gates - Extremely unique. Says some of the realist shit I've ever heard and probably the most intelligent rapper I've ever heard. Even his interviews you can tell how smart this guy is. His music isn't like anybody else's.

                          3. 2Pac - For the same reason a lot of people said. His music speaks to you and has a strong message. Some of his tracks like "Dear Mama" and "Changes" have helped me a lot in life tbh.

                          4. The Game - One of the realist rappers. Made so many classic West Coast tracks back in the day and put the West back on the map.

                          5. J. Cole - Relate to his music. When I first heard "Lost Ones" it was probably the realist song I've ever heard in my life. I've gone through something just like that and it's unexplainable. When he dropped The Warm Up & Friday Night Lights I swear everything he was saying I could relate too.

                          --

                          Honorable Mentions -

Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Biggie, Drake, Kanye, Flow, UGK, Andre 3000, Bone Thugs.
