I think it was meant seriously but doesn't bother me if it was sarcasm or not lol. I was just trying to point out that the possibility of it being nearly done and it still being a dope album is very possible.

I think only 25% will have been done personally but if it's really at 93% done then that's clearly great news. Plus that would explain a delay in releasing a solo Weezy track as they would likely want to put out a single from C4 instead of any random song. But could obviously put both out with one as a street single to hype up C4 a bit more before the first official single. Plans change in music constantly, that's why it's hard to find truth in what's said by DJ's and artists etc...

Now the standards for the Carter IV is as follows this will ensure it being a classic....

      1. Atleast a 24-48 period for a single song ...not including beat creation
      2. Features must chosen because of their presence on record not affiliation to YoungMoney or Cashmoney
      3. No YM (Or Birdman) features except Cory Gunz, Drake and Nicki Minaj....and they can't be on more than two songs
      4. Every song has a subject, and verses tie into that subject.....
      5. Pussy Cars Clothes Hoes can't be the topic of more than three songs
      6. Intro must be better than any intro he has ever done before...
      7. No Pharrell beats because most likely he is gonna want to sing on the hook...(NO NO)
      8. Lil Wayne must be at his peak lyrically, try out different flows and make sure every rhymes is significant in its own right
      9. Autotune is not allowed on more than one record.
      10. Producers, Writers, and anyone associated with the creation of this product must be PAID....
very nice points, i agree with this

If scoob is telling tha truth, is it really a surprise?

If it's 93% done, then it will be a bad album, rushed.

You're joking right? The album is gonna be roughly 18 songs as the Carter Series is normally around high-teens to low twenties. So if Wayne did just 18 songs that means he's had 8 months to write 18 tracks and you think it's rushed?!?! He can record 18 written tracks in a week doing 2 and a half a day. That means they could have been doing all the production for the album for the past 2 and a half weeks.

You guys really think lil wayne comes out of jail, and starts recording wack shit? Only thing that was stopping him from recording his lyrics was no beat are studio, he has that now, and has the motivation to drop tracks and go hard every day. I kno he was penning a lot a of shit in jail , and a crazy more amount since he been out. I think he probaly does have carter 4 almost done, but it wont drop till april, march. And he probably got a mixtape almost finish but in debut 2 drop it after carter 4, wayne works works works and is styll able to drop dope shit all night.

I'll decide if it's rushed or not when I see a release date.

As far as standards, agree with Cli-City on all points, especially 10 with the last word.
