Pac's post prison album was done in 2 weeks, Blueprint 1 = 1 week, bottom line is...it doesn't matter how long it takes to do the album...it's all about where the rapper's mind is...Wayne already had stuff written down, that makes the creative process 10x quicker...so gtfo with that logic...it doesn't take much to do a song-a-Fay and he's been out for like 30 days so...Originally posted by Weezy FabZ Baby View Post

work on carter 4 started in 2008, well before wayne even went into jail. (ex. told yall was originally for c4). 2-possibly 3 years work on an album isnt rushed at all.
however, wayne needs to drop a huge hit like "lollipop" was as the first single to the album. lets face it thats the only reason why c3 sold so much. if he doesnt drop a hit that can be played on radio, mtv, bet, etc. constantly c4 will fail.
wayne needs to use some autotune on c4 but not too much, only a couple tracks would be good. he needs to obviously get the hunger back in his lyrics and try different flows like in "last of a dying breed"
no awful features (like lil twist), this will compromise the reputation of the record. only good artists on features. he needs to do another track like "you ain't got nothin" with a couple other raw rappers. def no tracks with birdman.
& beats made by producers like: jahlil beats, timbaland, swizz beatz, kanye, alex da kid, bangladesh, tha bizness, alchemist, streetrunner, boi1da, jim jonsin, mannie fresh, cool & dre, the runners, olympicks, rockwilder, scott storch, maestro, & deezleComment

This is a very nice thread, Carter IV should be a classic album, full of INTELLIGENT lyrics. There shouldnt be any songs about b*tches and such and such, it should be in the level of kanye west "Graduation", a album which will show the true sides of Dwayne.
