You're missing the whole point. It's like he developed two personalities for rap. Change his whole style. Like how ray charles went country in the 70's for a min. he just reinvented himself as a whole completely rapper. Like Jay-Z hasn't rapped about coke hustle since Young Jeezy track Go Crazy.

Alright I see what you're saying now. But he doesn't need to "kill" Lil Wayne... Imo it's just really hard to judge what Wayne does or doesn't need to do right now since really haven't heard anything from him since he got out.

Wayne hasn't been working on Tha Carter 4 for a month...he has been working on it for 9. He spent 8 months in jail with nothing to do but a couple of push ups and writing lyrics. Fire Flame Remix was so really exciting lyrically and his flow was sick. He obviously isn't gonna waste his best wordplay on a remix with Birdman. Wayne even said that he couldn't even describe his new lyrics and for him to say that is a big deal. Tha Carter 4 will lyrically be incredible. And with albums out like Recovery and My Dark Twisted Fantasy out he is gonna be motivated as hell to make something killer. IANAHB was fun and all but thank god it wasn't Tha Carter 4. He just made it in a rush with none of the fine tuning that C2 or 3 got. He probably didn't get artist outside of YM cuz it would take too long for legal reasons. I have complete faith in Lil Wayne. He is gonna take his time and make sure that everything is perfect
