Easy option is add her and be honest with her. If she's like "Do I know you?" just be like "Nah but I have some classes with you and I think you're cute so I thought I'd add you so I could get to know you"

Males and females take such indirect approaches at times and try to play all these mind games like trying to hide your interested so the other person notices you more, and it's all just bullshit, be subtle but honest with her, if you do that she'll appreciate the honesty and see that you can be trustworthy.
