The show had such promise early on but the writers decided to squander it.

but from the ending I'm kinda happy it ended like it did
cause now dexter can come back for a movie or another season in the future

SPOILERI dont like how they ended it with us wondering. I mean does he still have to kill, or is he just some average lumberjack? It also ended very abruptly, kinda a disappointment. But still a great show so i cant complain

I think he still has his "dark passage" in him and I do believe he still kills.

He had that look in his eye at the very end like he normally does when he has the urge to kill someone.

Also I think if he didn't have to kill anymore, he wouldn't of abandoned his son and Hannah. Also looking at his new job and the house he was living in, he fits more of a killer than what he did lol!

I agree, idk but as i have been thinking about it, this would be a great start to a new tv show...maybe that is just me being an optimist because im sad that it ended. But i mean it is such a start, it doesnt fit an ending.

damn, im kinda sad... i mean, the end makes sense, is not a bad end... but what about Quinn? and Hannah and Harrison? i feel so sad for them, i was hoping that lovely end in Argentina and stuff but...
