When they upgrade the OS like Windows did from Vista to Windows 7, except that Windows 7 cost a lot, Mac OS X cost around 30 $

Mac for the most part is virus free at this moment, due to the small amount of people who use macs so hackers don't want to waste there time making viruses for like 9% of computer users.

Rest of the 90% of the world who uses Windows are open to viruses because hackers want to get at 90% more people than compared to macs. But as more people go to Macs the more viruses will appear.


Macs have a great design and have some nice perks. But then again Windows and Linux OS' are so much more customizable and offer so many more features than Apples software. Both are good, though.

Ok so I figured it out, If I work 3 days every other week, I can get a MacBook within 3-4 months.

I can get about 5 right now.

It depends on how specific you define OS.

Going from Tiger (10.4) to Leopard (10.5) I believe its $99. Going from Leopard to Snow Leopard (10.6 & Current OS) is also $99. Then there's the version of that OS. Current one is 10.6.6. Updating the versions is free.

Any Mac you would buy right now would most likely have S.L, version 10.6.1. Maybe .6. I dunno.
