My dad used to play in a few hardcore punk bands way back when, and I got a lot of my taste just growing up with that kind of music. My mom stopped really listening to music when I came around, going to school and work, but she did try to get my brain working early on with the Baby Mozart CDs.
So because of my dad's taste, I was naturally predisposed to faster, heavier rock music, so unsurprisingly I got really into metal. I really only got into hip-hop because my dad doesn't like it. I wasn't really a rebellious teenager, so I guess that's as bad as it ever got. After a while the whole "forbidden fruit" effect wore off and I started getting into it and really listening and studying the craft. That's about it.
The first album I ever bought was Nocturnal by Heltah Skeltah. My dad was pissed.

                I legitly listen to everything.

In high school, I was mostly into modern rock/alternative metal/grunge.
But toward the end of senior year, I got into rap.

Since then, I've been dabbling in all kinds of music.

                Here are my Pandora stations:

I already listen to rap all the time, so there's no point in making a station.

It was actually Wayne who kicked off my interest in my music. I never enjoyed rap before Wayne. Not even Eminem. I mostly listened to what my family was listening to in the radio or on some old '80 or '90 CDs lol.
But then in 06-07 music started to become a big thing in my life.
