Of course they would choose the same Arrow, because if there is currently a specific actor playing that specific character on a TV show, you can't go make a movie with a different actor playing that same character...

Not exactly. There's the whole "multi-universes" thing going on. Warner Bros doesn't own the Arrow series and the Flash spin-off, so they can't use the characters from the shows. Same reason why the Spider-Man films, the X-Men films, and the Avengers films aren't in the same universe; they are owned by different companies, so they are considered "different universes". In the case of DC, there are 3 universes: the "Arrow"-verse (specifically for Arrow and The Flash), the "Gotham"-verse (a new show coming soon on Fox), and the DC Cinematic Universe which begins with Man of Steel.

So even if there is going to be a Green Arrow appearing in future DC movies, Stephen Amell isn't going to play him. Same goes for Grant Gustin, who plays Flash in the series.

"Gotham" is a prequel. Batman is just a child. And, when a show is currently being filmed and on television, such as "Arrow" or "Flash" they have the rights to that character at that time... and besides, Stephen Amell is already in talks for the Justice League movie.

ya he's a beast in that, not sure how i feel about him playing aquaman though, and no aquaman hasn't been in a movie before, and he is the king of atlantis, not that famous of a superhero however, people see him as a joke

ya its going to be interesting, didn't think theyd put him in it, apparently there was a teaser of him in man of steel however, people say he saved superman when that oil rig collapsed in the water, hence why the whales are there, they are talking to aquaman to let him know he was alright when he woke up
