LOL ok THAT time I am guilty of skimming ....but that explains a lot. Everytime I say something nobody says anything, then someone says the same shit and someone's like thanks! And im like But whatever, its not like im getting paid for it and im glad people's stuff is getting fixed.

Lol I sort of don't look for any answers if you get me I'm only looking for if people put problems and I look for the latest questions and just go and answer them the best I can sort of thing, I mean if someone has asked but is still asking I just assume it's not been fixed

But yeah I get you, it's just good to help people out really. But at least I do get paid to work on comps

LOL yeah I let that go a loooooooooooooooooooooong time ago. Computer Science is just something that I know for my own FYI, I'd probably die from doing this: all day, if that was my major in college. It was my major/minor in high school though.

Like everything that is mentioned in this thread is just useful info that I know as well. I program in VBA so it's completely different to the sorts of things that have/will get asked on here. I don't really see anyone posting and asking why something doesn't work in VBA lol if they work in that sort of job they will more than likely know the answer

No I get what you mean, it can be damn annoying at times and boring but it's high paid

I just enjoy it though because you're always learning something new and as humans we find fascination and self-satisfaction in learning new things and obviously you keep learning through-out your whole life

Dell is probably the best place to at least start looking. Plenty of good machines there for cheap Skim

My computer is just so fucked up. Like i start it up. My desktop is black, with no icons. I try to install AVG, but it tells me i cant cause AnitMalware is on there. But i dont see any AnitMalware in Add/Remove programs, or in my program files.

And AVG is my only hope in getting rid of the problem..

Your desktop sounds to be half in safe mode and half not in safe mode in all honesty bro. I mean unless I could remote access your machine after the weekend or you take some screen shots for me or something I don't really think there's much more that can be done without going into masses of detail about advanced things to do to try and fix the problem.

Can you download any other anti-virus software at all though? If so just do it and try to get rid of whatever is fucking your comp up so bad.

If not yeah definately check out Dell, my tower is from there, obviously it's been moded to fuck but the basic models have decent size hard drives and graphics and sound cards in them. But when you go to purchase one you can upgrade all different parts of the tower to what you need Just remember though if you're gonna get one on Windows 7 that it takes up a lot of space so definately upgrade your hard drive if you get one from Dell

Im trying to download MSN Live Messenger back onto my computer.

But at the beginning of the install i get this message...

"Couldn't install programs. Use Window Update to download the latest version of Window Installer, and then try again.
Error : msi_check : 0x80280002"

Speaking of MSN, why the hell does the webcam dim out after a while? My webcame has like 0 settings, so I cant go into it and click something to stop it....it seems like some power saving shit, but I dunno.... Anyone know how to keep it from dimming after a while?
