do y'all think it ever works to pretend you like something you don't or do something you don't like just to make your partner happy so that they'll stay? Like is it worth pretending just because you really want them to be happy or is it just hiding the problem and slowing down the enviable?

Im not saying to pretend to be someone your not, just kind of finding ways to deal with having nothing in common anymore.

Best to get it out in the open et the start, and that way your partner will appreciate it even more when you show an interest and support him despite the fact that it's boring the hell out of you

It's actually on both sides, and we both know. But wearing you down is a good way to put it. I feel bad dragging him places I know he doesn't want to be and it kinda ruins it for me.

My big this is sport. I've seen girlfriends pretend they like a sport their boyfriend plays and it gets out of hand. It's so much easier to admit you hate it, then any time you actually turn up it's a special occasion, a bonus.

i think this is my first time in this thread huuh

i got a girl...but damn , i think that i don't like her that much nowadays. Conversations seem boring (we're like from two tottally different worlds) , i don't feel like saying love things to her , plus she doesn't even seem so fond either etc.
