It’s crazy that he can mimic his sound and voice from that long ago

It's not ? I compared the vocals by playing both at exact same time and (I'm 99% sure) it's the exact same take. the inflections and breaths are at the exact same points and tone doesn't change.

Also the 4th ring bar is still there instead of "last ring" like the live version. He wouldn't leave the 4 rings in if he re-recorded since Kobe since has gotten 5 rings.

The Re-release is doing better than I thought but a #1 on Apple Music doesn't really mean much. Most releases go #1 on Apple Music the day they are released.

This is doing well and seems to be a step in right direction but Funeral still tanked hard and people don't care. Playing the nostalgia factor with this re-release is a great move though

he didn’t re record it it’s the og version. everyone on this forum that thinks his current voice is able to magically sound like his old voice is delusional. it sounds like two different people.

Yeah, but your voices changes. I took a music production class and they said if you you’re doing vocals, you should do them all in the same day for one song because your voice changes slightly every day.

Its not like people’s voice stays the same consistently.

I don’t think that’s a re-recorded version. It sound almost the same as the original.

But I mean, if he did get it to sound the exact same, props to him.

This always has been and will always be the case unfortunately

Official no ceilings merch is now out. Also have no idea why they added I'm single to the tracklist; it's already on IANAHB lmao
Single is an original No Ceilings song, it was added to IANAHB because it was so popular.

When the tracklist dropped for IANAHB it said I'm Single featured Drake so everyone was hyped thinking we were getting a new version, but it was just the exact same song. People were dissecting it trying to find Drake vocals in the background and shit lol

It does sound different, it's the same recording but different mix, sounds like they removed the light autotune that was on the og

He's predicted to debut in the Top 10 on Billboard

                        Lil Wayne (Cash Money/Republic) 24-27k

Yes I saw, 25K is decent for a re-release. For reference So Far Gone did 45K last year. This is just one thing though lol and doesn't mean Wayne is "hot" again.
Funeral sold horrible, the week to week is really bad and it probably won't go Gold (may not have even hit 400K sales)
FWA Re-release could have just not happened - that's how much people didn't care.

                          But as I said -

and that Jack Harlow feature was a great placement as well.

Hopefully this means things may start getting better for Wayne - he was down bad this year.
