You’re probably right. His career is not over but his respect across the hip hop community is already really bad after those BLM comments and most people think he’s a “sell out drug addict coon”, those are not my words that’s what I’ve read and I’ve defended him many times. But every time he does something like this it effects his fan base and his respect. I purchase multiple albums and merch to support him will no longer do that and I’m sure not the only one.
