Personally, I think Wayne's comments on Black Lives Matter were way worse than this simple tweet with him endorsing Trump. Felt like he dragged out the BLM stuff for too long as well with the constant interviews he did about it. His comments were just completely stupid in every way. It also haunts his career since he had to readdress BLM once again on his podcast.

Once the election is over, I don't see this affecting his career in the slightest. It's not like Wayne is lighting up the charts anymore regardless lmao

Wayne has always been a rebell and the fact that it is deemed so "unacceptable" to meet up with Trump makes Wayne wanna do it even more. In that respect he is like Kanye. You’re probably right. His career is not over but his respect across the hip hop community is already really bad after those BLM comments and most people think he’s a “sell out drug addict coon”, those are not my words that’s what I’ve read and I’ve defended him many times. But every time he does something like this it effects his fan base and his respect. I purchase multiple albums and merch to support him will no longer do that and I’m sure not the only one.
