Kanye put up huge numbers without any hit.

C3 didnt sell a milli because of lollipop. It sold a milli because wayne was the most popular atists in music and had the fanbase to support. Lollipop did help with promotion.

Somebody previously said Florida has top singles but doesnt sell shit. Wayne's fanbase is what gives him sales. Don't insult the dude for atleast giving reason behind his speculation.

What huge numbers? graduation 900k? Gold Digger, Stronger is not a hit?

If your talking about MBDTF ..yes but the music was of the best quality and he didn't do the numbers you guys want weezy to do , 900k plus? lol ..he did shy of 500k ..thats more realistic. Now Wayne's music hasn't been of the best quality since 2 albums, for us uber fans we know whats up but the general consumer might still think he's on the same type of shit ..just don't go in expecting 1 million. Thats not the point, he should create solid music before any numbers should be talked about.

@ the Lolipop remark, Lolipop helped reach a fanbase of fans who are generally mainstream and buying albums ..it did help a lot with sales, it's one of the best selling records of all time..broke countless records . If you think it didn't help sales you are delusional. Ofcourse he had a great buzz with the features and the mixtapes but that song propelled him into the spotlight and into the ipods and cd players of people who never even heard of Lil Wayne.

Totally agree...Wayne sold a million because of a mixture of things....Top 10 singles, buzz, fanbase, great promotion, pushbacks, leaks....it took all of that....Kanye's Album that sold that most had his most successful song...Stronger with Graduation....Alot of people i know buy and album because they like a single so it does count...He should make sure the music is worth a million people picking it up....If its like IANAHB then it makes no sense to pick up an album with the same rhymes and different beat....his music has to be organic...atleast if he doesn't sell like he suppose to the music will be timeless....(that is what really counts)....realistically speaking we need to quit with that mili a week shit....its not realistic....if it happens it does but his music is gonna have to prove that he deserves that...

Kanye's only album without a hit is MBDTF, why are you talking about graduation? 500,000 Units is huge. If thats small to you, then wow. That just goes to show its not always about a huge single like you kids think.

The general public knows Rebirth was an experimental rock album, and actually think INHB was a mixtape. They have heard 6'7 and know whats up, nobody is doubting Wayne, they are all waiting for C4. I'm not expecting 1mill nor do I care much for sales but don't decieve yourself into thinking wayne won't put up huge numbers for C4.

You're not very smart are you? I'm not denying lollipop's impact, I'm saying Carter 3 sold what it did mostly due to a combination of Wayne's buzz and mainstream hits. He now has that solid fanbase, thats why he can go gold on terrible projects like Rebirth. Meanwhile Florida pumps out hits and doesnt sell.

Not necessarily, C4 is a follow up from C3 so its has alotta hype, basicly any1 who bought C3 should be more excited for C4, Plus Wayne is known around the world by EVERY1. Plus C4 has been in the works since 08, we have been waiting almost 3 years. With the economy that were in, C4 should do 800-900K 1st week (Without Mainstream lollipop single) With it it will do 1 Mil. Eminem had no strong Mainstream single and he did pretty good so think about lil wayne, So as long as C4 is promoted right that every1 knows its release date C4 will make history

I agree, People who are in denial & doubting wayne won't comprehend that C4 will sale regardless until it actually does.
