No Ceilings, overrated?

Fair enough. This mixtape was an example of what I was talking about the just "lemme go inside the booth and go hard on every track" and thats it. Only tracks I disliked was No Lie, No Worries, and MHS remix. Also, some tracks it felt like it took him a little while to get going and go in on the track like on "I don't like". Amen would've been better, and as much as I love Boo he should've came so much harder. It's a dedication mixtape for gods sake and it sounded like he just wrote it and went in the booth and called it a day.

I'd still give it a 3.5/5 only because I got rid of the tracks I hated

If I got rid of all the tracks I didn't like, it'd be a solid EP that I would enjoy.

No Ceilings is such a classic. I can still listen to this tape all the way through without getting bored. I don't see how you don't like it. I can't really see anything wrong with the tape. Its like a 9.5/10

I'd say it's a LITTLE overrated but it's still a good mixtape imo. It's not the goat or anything but it's definitely one of the best newer Wayne projects.

I did NOT say in my post that it was GOAT material! But I'd still rank NC in a higher tier than say, LWA, D3 and SQ 1-6 Remixes.

You must fuck with some hardcore Nas/Eminem/MF DOOM/Immortal Tech stans because NC isn't anywhere near weak.

Not weak at all. And it's a hella lot better than the mixtapes you mentioned. And yes, those are the people who I hang around. They think i'm stupid for liking Wayne and any other mainstream artist that i've given a chance.

True...But I do still fuck with NC, and C3 regardless of the shitty singles. And also this is off topic but how do you feel about his recent features like celebration, ect.

I hate to put it this way, but I like his features in this recent year, but it's not anything crazy amazing, but a HUGE step up.

It's not bad by any means. I didn't care for a few things, but it's only slight. I think the mixtape is solid from 1-21, it flows very well. It's just okay for me though...

It's because nobody knew what Wayne would turn out to be today. So we accept No Ceilings for what it is.

I'm so glad I didn't have high ass expectations for D4. So many people were listening to D1, D2, and D3 to get ready for D4. I knew damn well it wouldn't sound like any of the previous dedications, but I knew it'd be a step up from S4TW, and all the other shit he's been giving us from 2011(his 2012 features been looking kinda good so far though).

I'm listening to D2 and I'll pause after I listen to a few tracks and listen to D4 and see why so many people hated it. But at the same time people shouldn't expect anything close to the previous dedications. D4 is a great mixtape for NEW wayne. He's headed in a bearable direction compared to last year. We all know wayne is capable of making a quality mixtape, the question is can he make a quality album.
