i really dont know what to say about this project. There are som dope songs, but the are pretty much the samme. A gauy in here said this was like WATTBA an i agree with him.. YES. exactly. that's the first thing I thought. I don't mind the fast flow when it's like S4TW2, but NC2 is not aging well for me with those fast flows. I'm just not feeling him too much lately. having to suffer through 2 chainz's struggle bars and corny shitty jokes isn't helping either... collegrove just isn't very good. AFTER FWA I THOUGHT WE WERE HEADED BACK TOWARDS A BETTER WAYNE, BUT NOW I AM DEPRESSED BECAUSE NC2 BEGAN A DECLINE AND COLLEGROVE ONLY PROVES THIS FURTHER. There are def some good verses here and there, but overall as you said it's nothing really.
for example when Kanye releases songs, even if the song isnt nice, it would have a 'unique' feel to it compared to the next one...but with Wayne recently, every song basically sounds the same lyrically and in the delivery....its just nothing special
but then again thats my opinion, everybody got their own abviously lol
I mean I got used to that voice n stuff but sometimes he really needs to chill.
And I like a lot of tracks with his voice way up (e.g. NC2)
But yeah, it's all opinions at the end of the day.
I'm going to give it a few more listens and see how I feel but it's just so "meh" to me rn
