Most of em I've seen so far from critics are 6 or 7. Only saw one 5 from Rolling Stone. Saw a couple 8s. Consequence of Sound gave it a B- which in my mind is an 8 but somehow metacritic translates that to a 67.

All the guys from Daily Struggle had nothing but positive things to say but they didn't give it a grade or anything.

What's hilarious to me is they all have different favorite songs and different songs they say is "filler." Music critics in general are hype beasts and a lot of them have no business reviewing hip hop. Read some of the reviews and you can tell that they MAYBE gave the album one full listen and didn't really go deep.

Ugh why did Wayne use that stupid gawd awful horrible horrific ass beat on Mama Mia

Smh I honest don�t understand that stupid decision to pick that beat

Lol Wayne won't give a fuck. Carter III got countless 3 star reviews, even C2 did.

Carter 3 also broke alot of records and had alot of insta new fame associated with it.

This album is more like a sleeper hit.

I think its a hit anyway but yall might use the word "release" instead.

Perhaps but I don't think he would have announced it and named it to be a successor to Rebirth if he was that concerned about how the media would accept it. The main criticism I see is that it lacks direction, which I can understand. I feel like the tracks could have been ordered differently. Maybe it'll affect the way Mack puts together tracklists.
