If Universal had been more involved it would have helped. They didn't assure the fans that the release date actually WAS midnight EST, which it turned out it wasn't, and I pre-ordered my music from them and they didn't send it to me until I complained the next day - hours after it was technically available and should have been sent. If anyone other than me had similar problems with the company, that would probably have some (probably small) effect on it, but it surely didn't help.

Can't blame it all on that, of course, but it's a factor. Maybe they just backed out and let Tez and Mack do whatever they wanted.

The label is the key reason it doesn't get enough promo.
If they actually put some effort into promoting and generating hype then all of these newer releases would see bigger numbers (and probably higher reviews)
