yes. sucker for pain is literally the first one that comes to mind dude if he sounded like that on a consistent basis i would literally NEVER complain. and i’m gonna tell you why he sounds the way he did on that verse. that song obviously had other artists on it & wayne had ZERO control of the mastering & autotune (there was none thank god) so i guaranTEE you the label or whoever managed that song told him what they wanted / didn’t want and that’s when we got the old sounding wayne back. when he’s off in his own studio with his random shit ass producers that can’t master a song for their lives that’s when we get the terrible sounding autotune / high pitch crazy vocals / etc. another song that stood out was spend it. that’s one of my fav wayne features ever. mastering was on point, autotune was on point, voice was actually decent for once. there’s some here and there dude if i had to put a # on it i’d say about 20 songs/features total since 2015 are tolerable to me.

BITCH IMMA BOSS I GOT YOUR HOE IN MY ASSEMBLY LINE. he sounded so fucking good on that song that is easily one of my favorite vocals we ever got from wayne. but dude you just made the point ive been trying to make for the last 5 years but no one listens to me. his voice on all those songs is fucking iconic. THAT is weezy. that is the wayne voice that we all know & love & it is just not there anymore. i remember thinking his voice on 6ft7ft was high pitched back in 2011.... god almighty if only i knew what was to come i would have never said a word back then. but when i always say like 'i miss hearing him RAP' everyone acts like im crazy. dude when you add autotune to a vocal you remove the rawness from it. that's like if they put autotune on gunwalk or trigger finger it would sound like SHIT. but no one seems to understand that. autotune is not meant to be rapped with. its meant to be sang with. and i dont know whos idea it is to put it on every single thing he releases now but it needs to stop.

listen man i dont have to defend myself here. im not trolling, i love rap, & i might be a little hard of hearing after wayne's last 4 projects but other than that you really cant sit there & tell me wayne's current music is good. you just cant. if it was still good he'd still be on top & he's not. if you go through twitter/facebook/IG the general public ALL says the shit i have been saying here. "we miss the old wayne" "wayne stop trying to be like the new rappers & do your own thing like you used to" "all wayne's new music sounds the same" .. it's literally everywhere. i dont know what you're hearing that makes you enjoy what he's putting out now & i wish i could enjoy it too but i just cant.

I actually thought you've been trolling man lol. Like on some real shit, it's fine to disagree but to put it to you best..

You probably have a favorite candy, but imagine they stopped being made so your only option is a similar off brand version.

It can be good, but it can't ever be 100% the real delicious official version because it's gone.

If something is delicious / really good why is it discontinued?

Because it didn't sell well enough / other stuff was more popular.

But hey, if it's so good why did knock off versions get made?

Because other people believed in the ability to have success with it, even if not as much as the original.

With the original gone, the market basically becomes under saturated.

The discontinued brand is actively doing something else and it's not as good but it sells incredibly well because it's what majority of the people want right now flavor wise.


But what about those who loved the now discontinued product?

They are shit out of luck, unless they're fine exploring other brands or new flavors.

Brand loyalty is always a cool thing @when_it_snow_im_on_top but the brand should also be loyal to the fans in catering to
making what even a niche fan base want.

If what you want isn't available at one place, you go to another place and if you stop spending your time, your effort, your money the brand doesn't care because they have other people doing those things and their thought is they can always replace the fans/supporters they've lost with new ones.
