    Official Written Tournament #1 [Complete]



    This is the official thread for Tha Studio's first Official Written Tournament. This contest will be an eight man double-elimination bracket style tournament. Writers will fight their way through a bracket in multiple one on one battles to prove that they are the best writer in Tha Studio.

    BE SURE TO READ THE OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT RULES. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN INELIGIBILITY OR BANNING FROM FUTURE TOURNAMENTS.

    For this first tournament participants have been seeded randomly to make things fair. Make sure you are signed up in Tha Studio Index as a writer before your Round 1 submission. You can view each rounds details below in the second post of this thread. When a round is completed the results will be posted in the third post of this thread. The Winners/Losers Bracket is below as well as the official judges.

        Still have yet to lose in an official written tournament match. Will continue that throughout this tournament as well.

              Yeah should be a good one, but I'm afraid I might have to do you like I did Nefu in the Battle.

              In other news, posting the topic RIGHT NOW!!! Basically to make things simple, there will be no topic at all throughout the tournament. The tournament will consist of straight dis battles. Not every bar has to be a dis though. When you submit your verse you are to PM it to YNR, Cody, and Nefu. After they have judged each verse they will pm me the final results with each verse and I will post the results into the third post of this thread.

              Begin your verses now, they are due Thursday, June 24, 2010 @ 2:00 PM (EST). Every round after this one will only be 24 hour submission rather than 48 like this round.

              EDIT: Second post updated with Round-by-Round details

                    another question i have to ask, 16 bars as in 16 lines or 16 bars as in 32 lines? cuz some people say a bar is 2 lines. and some dont. so 16 lines or 32 lines?
