Re: [Album] Mykill - G.R.I.N.D. (Gettin' Riches in New Dimensions)

Ive been waiting for GRIND for 6 months now. And when the finish product you did not dissappoint man
Intro: Great intro, the stringing together of that mustve taken awhile. perfect way to start the album.
The Sermon. Ive been very insterested to hear this track since I saw the tracklisting. Like the Donnie Darko line. This track is full of nice bars.
Where Can You Find Him: The rhyme scheme on this track is great. You kill on the second verse man. I love this track.
        Fuck Ya'll: Already reviewed
        Move It: Already Reviewed
Get Some: Another solid track, seemed like it was more focused on the verses than the hook. Something makes me think youve sent this one to me before.
Million DOllar Man: Nice bouncy track. Bringing that Mykill swag to the forefront. Good hook, I could hear this on the radio.
Dont Wanna Lose You: I like this track from the first time you let me hear it. Like the way you finished it man.
Lemme Talk: One of my favorite tacks by you, already reviewed.
        Punchlines: Already Reviewed
Omni-Steez: Weird beat, but I like it. You were spittin on this one man. Simple hook, hard verses. I like this one alot.
Run It: I'll save this for the run it thread.
Crazy Men: Let me just say that verse was one of the hardest Ive ever had to write lol.
You made me rewrite my verse, lol, which is always welcome man. It was well woth it
        I think it.
Black Jeezuz: I like this one man. The beat is very sick, too a different turn than I expected but it's still really good. Your lyrics fit the track perfectly. Nice ryme
scheme, presented a different flow. Like the weezy homage in there too. Another great track.
Dear Mama: I love this man. FOr the concept, and the flow. Just everything. Probably my favorite track
        on the tape lol.
Back Into You: You probably hate but i like the singing. I think its, in the best description i can give, very 90s. Compliment.
Two Lines: Good to hear that one again.
For a Friend:Sorry about your friend man.
Your production is getting better and better man. Seems like you really put your heart
        into this one man.
Don't Quit Your Day Job: Nice track for the haters my nigga. I like the hook too.
This must be one of the last two tracks you were telling me you were trying
to finish. The swith up of the flow is nice too. You went in on this one man.
I Do It: Hm. Great track lol. Feel like my verse is kinda slowed down though, or maybe
behind a half sec or so.
Orchestra Muzik: You did your thing on that one man. I probably know a little more
than most how hard you worked on it. The flow on it is perfect man. I like the production too.
Reminicent of a Victory or HAM tpe track, mainly cause of the orchestral line lol.
Hence the name. Good to hear you spit over that shit, to make them niggas bow down.

You did a great job with GRIND man. You never give yourself enough credit. Fuck the sophmore slump right bro? This
album is very versatile. I like how you went completely orginal on this one, the industry tracks on
Machete kinda took away from it I felt like. I miss the interludes from Machete lol, but then again that was a concept album so they
were more necessary. You show more flows on this one than I've ever heard from you. I like your experimentation this one too, pushing
to the next level is what its about. There's a few slip-ups in the flow, maybe a few synching issues but other that this
is a pretty solid project. I think your growth is shown immensely on GRIND, and I know you'll only continue to get better. Only thing I wonder now is when we
gonna get some time for some more Killurz shit lol.

VERY MUCH appreciated MAC! Been waiting for a final run down from ya. Glad you caught that Wayne homage though. You would think more ppl on a Lil Wayne forum would see the nod to the Big Cheesehead himself lol. Like always you see the bigger picture: growing, elevating, and maturing in my abilities. Over the 6 months I worked on this, I have learned a lot and I hope to carry that knowledge to the next one. Hopefully I can finally perfect the technically aspects and continue to give people something interesting and intriguing to hear.

Coming Soon - Mykill - THE VESTIGE
There were men and women before me that put their heart and soul into crafting something, a part of music that was far different than anything that came before it and embodied their culture. Their roots were driven by soul, by jazz, and by the desire to tell stories in a new and exciting way. My next tape will be an ode to those that came before and blazed a bright path. It'll be dedicated those tiny drops that leaked out, and the little pieces that fell off, when mass media got a hold of it and blew it out of proportion. It will be a celebration of Hip-Hop and will pay homage to the greats before that made all of this possible. THE VESTIGE, the little bit that's missing...
