My father wouldn't really care because he lives all the way down in Georgia and my mother really can't do nothing because she says it's his child, it's in his hands on what he thinks is right for his son. All I can do is try to toughen the kid up.

It just has to do with the way my family was brought. My grandfather probably would of shot his son if he found out he liked men so it get's passed down. My mother has 7 sibling, only 3 including herself doesn't really have nothing against gays.

i understand your family has customs i really do, but you have to understand that being gay isnt really a big deal to the rest of the country anymore, he is going to see gay culture on television and in media and it will only bring out the homosexuality in him (if there is any) trying to suppress it will only hurt him later in his life

Yeah but the next generation in my fam will be a lot more opened to it, when I have children I'll make sure this doesn't happen. That's why I come on the forum and talk about it because really in real life I have nothing to say about it with most of my family, if I had an opinion on this my uncle will damn near cave my head in.
