        I've seen United 93 and The Road. Not seen that Le Mepris tho, thanx I'll check it out.

        I don't know why, but sad and depressing movies somehow fascinates me. I think it's the fact that it goes against the unwritten "rules" of cinema and creates something that shouldn't be made.

        btw, have you seen Trier's Dancer In The Dark?

          Yeah. I think I like them more because. . .well, they describe humanity best.

          I've not seen it; I've seen most of his other films, though.
