Dude I been recording with taught me a good technique to get songs done. Instead of writing whole songs and recording em, lay down the hook only and listen to it for a few days that way you feel more comfortable when you put down the verses and have an idea of where the song is going to go. Just puttin that out there its been helpful for me.
