The Machinist with Christian Bale.

Good little tense thriller. I like the first half of it better than the second though. It was a lil too predictive but a good movie never the less.

And Bale's peformance was phenomenal!

Watched Cabin in the Woods & Shutter Island for the first time. Cabin in the Woods was completely awful. Shutter Island was a pretty good movie though. I just wish the ending was a bit different

But why I don't like the movie is because the plot has been used several times before.

Hmmmmmmm. If you liked No Country for Old Men, I'd watch There Will be Blood.

It's got Daniel Day-Lewis and its director by Paul Thomas Anderson.

I shit you not, it's probably the best film of the 2000s.

I liked City of God. It's very overrated mainly because of the fact that it's a foreign film, but it's worth watching.

Children of Men is another good one; there is a lot going on, but it works.

Haven't seen Gran Torino.


Based on these sorta films, I'd suggest:

Goodfellas (you've probably seen it)
