I'm going to watch Flight again bc the first time I saw it, I wasn't blown away. Denzel and John Goodman were great but overall it didn't hold my attention.
I'm just glad Christoph Waltz and Argo won last night!

Lol, the movie doesn't have to blow you away? Personally, I don't think the movie was amazing, but just a good, above average drama movie. The opening plane crash, and the great peformances is what holds this movie up imo.
-And Tarantino with that script win>>>>>>>

Seth MacFarlane as host at the Oscars? Can I say, best thing that ever happened to the show!
Not a single one of the big six deserved their wins.
"Amour" >> "Argo"
Steven Spielberg >> Ang Lee
Joaquin Phoenix >> Daniel-Day Lewis
Philip Seymour Hoffman >> Christoph Waltz
Emmanuelle Riva >> Jennifer Lawrence
Helent Hunt, Sally Field & Amy Adams >> Anne Hathaway.

I was disapointed with a lot too.
Especially Life of Pi. That movie won way too many awards that others deserved imo.

Joaquin Phoenix 100% should have had best actor, him in The Master was unreal. Daniel-Day Lewis was very good, but lets face it, it's just because it's about Lincoln and America that he got that, nobody was going to win it over Lincoln.
Don't agree with Philip Seymour Hoffman >> Christoph Waltz.
I like Hoffman but Waltz had a way better performance in Django than Hoffman had in The Master. Pretty much agree with the rest.
But Quvenzhané Wallis >>> All actresses.
Outstanding in Beasts of the Southern Wild for a child.

I just think Waltz didn't 'deserve' it because it's the same character as his previous win. (Of course I know they're not, but besides the hero/villain switch I don't see much difference.)
If it would have been Riva, definitely Wallace. A very good film.
