Watched Gran Torino (for the 2nd time) yesterday. Love that movie, great script and acting (Clint on that retired Dirty Harry style lol) and so many qoutes rofl.

That movie is so overrated. There are so many implausible things in it and it's so cliché. I prefer Million Dollar Baby.

Should probably watch City Of God...

If you haven't seen The Godfather [very unlikely], watch it. Same for The Departed, although I'm pretty sure you said you've seen it before.


Beside that, I cannot think of any mob movies that come close to Goodfellas.

Got DR Rises today in Advent Sunday (don't know if that's the correct word in english). Can't wait to see it again. I wasn't quite sure if I liked it, loved it or was a bit disapointed.
Can't watch it tonight though, I'm going to a Indiana Jones marathon lol. Should be fun

Watched "Five Minutes Of Heaven" starring Liam Neeson, it turned out to be just great. It's something like a revenge movie, but it's built on feelings and emotions rather than action...it really makes you emphatize with both of its leads.

Recommended to anyone who likes well constructed, character-driven dramas...and to Neeson fans
