It was great. Wicked movie.

BUT I will say one thing. Don't expect a shit tone of Godzilla action, I think this is what will make people say it was shit bla bla bla, because they go wanting to see nothing but Godzilla tearing shit up. It's more about humanity, but regardless it was still a good movie. And a massive step up from that appalling 2004 Godzilla.

Godzilla looked the fucking bollocks though, I made sure I didn't see a full face frontal picture or any new trailers towards the release of this so exactly what he looked like what a surprise for me when seeing it. And he just looked fucking awesome. Exactly how Godzilla should look.

My friend was very let down, but he is more into just pure action, he doesn't appreciate a storyline as much as I do. But yeah it was a great movie, just don't go expecting to see a load of Godzilla. But what you do see of him, is nothing but epicness.

@Mnjaro what did you think of the movie mate? I assume you have seen it as you said you had your tickets pre-ordererd. I know you was extremely hyped for it, hope you wasn't let down at all?

hey sorry for the delayed response, didn't want hype or nostalgia to affect what i thought of the movie when i wrote this aha....that being said i still absolutely loved the movie, going into this i knew i wasnt going to see godzilla 'much' as other modern monster movies show their monsters, gareth edwards clearly stated from the beginning he used 'Jaws' as a huge inspiration as to how godzilla would be shown in this film, so the amount he was in it didnt affect me at all....bryan cranston was fantastic as usual, even if he isnt in it as long as i would have liked, only thing was that aaron johnson was a little dull in some scenes and felt he didnt really need to be involved as much as he was, but i get what the director was doing trying to show a more human element to the film. The CGI was absolutely incredible in this as well, and the way godzilla took care of the MUTO's was awesome, especially the last one aha probably my favorite scene of the movie......i would give the movie probably a 8-9 out of 10. Very happy with what gareth edwards did with the movie, especially considering this was only his 2nd film hes directed, first major blockbuster....looking forward to what he does in the future with movies and especially godzilla (they announced a sequel would be made today!!!!)

my type of horror, great movie not without flaws and with a slow start and predictable ending - but every between is pure tension and well done thinkers-horror. Great cinematography and soundtrack too. 7-8/10
